Overview
I’m Diane, a UX Design Strategist and DesignOps practitioner with a background spanning over a decade of digital transformation across enterprise/corporate, community-driven, and international digital environments.
I started my journey in 2012 designing digital experiences across WAP, USSD, and web platforms before mobile apps became mainstream. As digital products evolved, I later contributed to some of the early app experiences for large corporate organisations in South Africa during a key period of digital transformation.
Over time, my work expanded beyond South African enterprise/corporate environments into a broader range of initiatives, from tourism and community-focused platforms to international corporate work spanning regions such as the United States, Kenya, and India.
Today, my work sits across UX strategy, research, experience design, and DesignOps, where I focus on helping organisations navigate complexity, strengthen design maturity, and create solutions that deliver meaningful value for both people and businesses.
I enjoy working across disciplines and using a mix of UX, CX, research, and service design approaches to help teams unpack complex problems, align around opportunities, and shape solutions that balance user needs, business goals, operational realities, and the people involved in bringing experiences to life.
Alongside the work itself, I care deeply about creating supportive, collaborative environments where people can grow, contribute meaningfully, and do their best work.
I’m also currently exploring the evolving role of AI in design, experimenting with AI-assisted workflows, emerging tooling, and new ways technology can support collaboration, creativity, and more adaptive digital experiences.
